Massa Carrara. Reporter excluded from press conference in prosecutor’s office

On January 10, 2018 the prosecutor Aldo Giubilaro denied access to Vinicia Tesconi, collaborator of the online newspaper La Gazzetta di Massa Carrara

“I would prefer you not to attend this press conference”, the prosecutor said, in front of the other journalists who were admitted. Then he closed the door. He said that he does not want to deal with improper journalists, without giving further explanations. “I think he has abused of his powers”, the journalist told Ossigeno who, after the incident, publicly reported the case (read).

PRECEDENTS IN TUSCANY – Ossigeno has detected 89 serious violations of the freedom of the press and of expression committed with illicit acts, acts of violence, and abuse against journalists, bloggers, video operators, photo reporters, publishers, whose names are published in the Observatory’s Table. In 2017, 13 names were added to this list.
