Covid: the man who attacked the photographer in Sacile identified and reported

OSSIGENO 11th April 2022 – Two months after the event, police identified the man who on 29th January 2022 in Sacile, in the province of Pordenone, insulted and then kicked a news photographer during a protest demonstration against the EU Digital COVID Certificate. The photojournalist was covering the event on behalf of the newspaper ‘Il Gazzettino’.

The man is a 70-year-old from Fontanafredda (in the province of Pordenone), who was accused of aggravated violence against an individual. The news was reported by ‘Il Gazzettino’ (read here).

The investigations, carried out by the Special Branch (Digos), made use of the images recorded by some CCTV cameras.

Ossigeno per l’informazione followed the story, expressed solidarity with the reporter and encouraged him to formally denounce the attack (read here).GB
