Borrometi: prosecutor no feedback on the car bomb

The Prosecutor of Catania, Carmelo Zuccaro declared that, “Even if it constitutes an interpretation of the journalist, this is far from being mere speculation”.

The Prosecutor of Catania, Carmelo Zuccaro, has sent a report to the Regional Anti-Mafia Commission of Sicily regarding the threats to the journalist Paolo Borrometi. The report had been requested by the President of the Commission, Hon. Claudio Fava, following a complaint presented by some members of the Sicilian regional parliament who questioned the danger of the threats after the journalist had claimed that a bomb was being prepared to kill him.

Carmelo Zuccaro writes: “As for the alleged failed car bomb attack that was allegedly commissioned by Mafiosi of Pachino, it should be noted that the car bomb hypothesis is an interpretation of the journalist, far from being mere speculation but still unsupported from other findings“ (read here).
