T. Imerese. To trial the three authors of threats the journalist Spallino

He had written that two of them are involved in a judicial inquiry. The correspondent of the Giornale di Sicilia and the Ordine dei Giornalisti di Sicilia are also plaintiffs

The trial against Nicola and Giuliano Ficile and Veronica Arata began on February 14, 2018 at the court of Termini Imerese (in the province of Palermo), accused of aggravated threats against the journalist Giuseppe Spallino, correspondent of the Giornale di Sicilia.

Spallino reported in an article that in the judicial inquiry on the drug dealings in Castelbuono (always in the province of Palermo), and Spallino’s birthplace, among the seven people involved there were also Nicola Ficile and Veronica Arata. A few days later, on July 29, 2017, the journalist was threatened by the two and his brother (read) and filed a complaint with the Carabinieri.

In the proceedings both the journalist (assisted by the lawyer Giuseppe Minà) and the Order of Journalists of Sicily are carrying the civil action.
